Shibuya is like the Times Square of Tokyo, and is best appreciated by night!
We will start off with a wonderful sushi dinner at a touch screen sushi place where your order whizzes by on a little tray set on tracks. Make sure you have an appetite because the sushi here is to die for! Alternatively, we can have Japan’s fast food favorite, ramen, in a very individualist place.
After dinner, one of our excellent guides will show you around Shibuya. You will get to see the (in)famous ‘Love Hotel Hill’ with some outrageous love hotels where you can rent a room for an hour and rooms are usually done in a special theme. You will get to see the famous ‘scramble crossing’ where 100,000 people cross every hour (it is one of the busiest crossings in the world). We will show you the best vantage point to take that unique photograph.
Of course, our visit to this unique area is not complete without a bit of craziness, so we end our tour with a drink at a ‘train bar’ where you can see a miniature version of the ‘shinkansen’ (bullet train) rush by while you sip your drink or your guide will find another type of bar: a DJ bar, a cocktail lounge or a Butler cafe, if trains don’t float your boat you will surely find something else that interests you in eclectic Shibuya.
The tour ends at Shibuya station, or the guide can drop you off at another bar or night club of his/her recommendation if your night is only just starting.
